i’m loving the images that come from ‘day after’ bridal shoots. the big day is over, you can feel free to let your hair down, kick off your shoes, and get some amazing images in your gown with your new husband! you can focus on getting some creative, artistic shots, with no need to worry about a little bit of dirt or grass stains. check out trash the dress for ideas on what some of the world’s top wedding photographers are doing with couples just like you after their wedding.

happy new year everyone! i’m looking forward to some exciting changes in 2007, including new branding and a new website, all to complement my shift in focus from photographing… well, everything… to focusing on weddings.

i’ll continue shooting abandoned spaces and have some gallery shows coming up in ‘07, and i will also continue to donate my photography services to local charities and non-profits that are working toward social betterment. however, business-wise, i’ve made the decision to shift my focus towards weddings. perhaps i have a little more hopeless romantic in me than i realized, but i just love documenting the beginning of a couples’ new life together!
