being a thoughtful hostess… March 28, 2007

is it important to you that your guests dance the night away at your wedding? keep a basket of slippers (or flip flops, for an outdoor reception) in the ladies restroom or near the dance floor. if their feet start hurting, having a comfy alternative for your guests to slip on will be kindly appreciated. just don’t forget to get a pair for yourself!

Nancy wore white Nike track shoes with satin laces. She had a grand time at the wedding and the reception.

Note: She took the spikes out and replace them with flat plugs. Spikes can cause problems on a tile dance floor.

My wedding back in 05 was a non stop dance fest (and I don’t dance so that tells ya something) and I can thank having a GREAT DJ for that. My wife have this “Paradise by the Dashboard Light” thing we do that… well yeah anyways :) She wore slippers and I wore my black chucks.

What we did for guests is had baskets in both restrooms filled with stain remover, mouthwash, condoms, feminine products, cologne, perfume, breath mints and other misc. things that people may need.
