julie and dave September 16, 2007
julie and dave got married yesterday at st. mary on the mount on mount washington (which is a beautiful church to photograph in). julie was a radiantly beautiful bride, and one of the smiliest brides i’ve ever seen (check out the slideshow, there are very few photos where she’s not beaming). here are some of the things that caught my eye throughout the day:
a few details

juile is the only girl in the family, so her mom was very excited and emotional about her little girl getting married. it was so sweet.

love this face she made when the veil was going in. ![]()

the ringbearers were adorable

love this moment between julie and dave during the ceremony

right after they are announced as the new mr. and mrs.

it was a little windy on the overlook. her brothers had to help save her veil here.

slightly traditional portrait in front of the church

and then off to the rivers club for the reception. julie has terrific taste and great attention to detail. the reception was beautifully done.

the maid of honors toast was a little emotional

first dance. i swear the smile did not leave julie’s face all day. she was so full of joy and made the greatest expressions.

a little bit of breakdancing. i’ve gotta give props to their dj chris boyd. he was very interactive, great at reading the crowd, and was gobs of fun to work with. (so was their videographer, glenn snow out of columbus).

and then a few pushups on the dance floor

another shout out to abie, who was my second shooter for the day. abie took these last photos, check out these sweet shots she got:
julie’s mom seeing her all dressed for the first time. i love her reaction here.

love, love, love this shot she got of julie coming down the aisle.

such a sweet tender moment between julie and dave
congratulations julie and dave! enjoy your honeymoon!

PHENOMENAL! Kim and Abie, you truly have captured the emotion, the excitement, the happiness, the beauty, the tenderness, the love, ….my little girl all grown up!……..WOW - can’t wait to see more!!!
Love that first shot. Very nice. Did it take you seventeen million hours to set up like it took me to set up my shots of Heather’s Gucci’s? I think I have 45623 shots of those shoes between the three of us!
oh my gosh, elaine, thank you so much! everyone was so gracious and so wonderful to work with. we had a fabulous time and it was truly a pleasure to photograph this wedding.
angela- ha! those shoes were gorgeous! they deserved a gazillion shots.
can’t wait until i can show the world.
