mary and bob September 25, 2007
what a day! we began at Marys parents house for some getting ready shots, then off to St. John Capistran church for the ceremony. Next it was back to Mary’s parents for some photos, then off to the Duquesne Club for a Persian ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception. Remaining on the kick of summing up weddings in one word, this one would have to be: romance. Here are some of the things I saw throughout the day:
loved, loved, loved her dress.

love this reaction; mary’s mom seeing her for the first time

mary was stunningly gorgeous

and then off to the ceremony

love the contrast in this one; bob on the left smiling as his bride walks down the aisle, while his mom wipes a tear on the right

the persian ceremony

being showered with confetti

tim condron did a fabulous job on the flowers and event design

their cake was by vanilla pastry studio on the west end- one of my favorite bakers (my husband and i are there regularly for their cupcakes. best in pittsburgh). and that’s nic from lockerman studios in the background. i totally recommend them for video.

first dance

let’s get this party started! the rick purcell band kept the dance floor packed all night.

the broom dance- a tradition in marys family

i’ve got to give a shout out to nate and emily, who were my second shooters for the day. thanks guys!
