clare and jack October 1, 2007
i travelled out to maryland this weekend to photograph clare and jacks wedding. they got married in a beautiful ceremony by the water, then headed over to the wellwood club for their reception. the weather was perfect for an outdoor ceremony. here are a few of the things that caught my eye throughout their day:
the ladies from moxie salon came out to do hair and makeup for clare and the wedding party.

clare and jack decided to see one another before the ceremony so they could spend time doing their portraits beforehand. even though jack had already seen clare earlier in the day, this was his reaction as she walked down the aisle. this is probably my favorite groom reaction all year.
clare’s aunt read the poem ‘my heart’ by e.e. cummings during the ceremony. she got choked up while reading it, and hearing her aunt try to hold back tears made Clare get a little emotional.

Kim, Oh my god, I can’t believe how gorgeous these photos look, I can’t wait to see them all, how will I chose oh my guess I will have to buy them all…LOL. You are an amazing photgrapher and can’t wait to meet up again, if I am ever in the “Burgh” I am coming to visit, I will miss you and your laugh. You made my Wedding Day extremely memorable and will never ever forget this day. PS we had a blast in Mexico!!!
