About September 18, 2006
I have a very distinctive laugh.
At least, that’s what people tell me. I laugh all the time. Spend more than 10 minutes with me and I guarantee you’ll hear it at least once. At least. How could I not be happy? I’m doing what I love to do. I’m constantly surrounded by couples that are in love on one of the happiest days of their lives. I have a ridiculously wonderful husband that I’m pretty madly in love with myself.
I dig life. I love people and photography, and I have the best career in the world. I get to photograph the day when two people who are so much in love decide to announce to the world their commitment for one another. The day that they say, “This is it; I’ve found my one; let’s make it official.” I get to capture that emotion, the laughter and the tears and the nervous butterflies. I get to capture your first moments as husband and wife, and then a huge celebration surrounded by your friends and family.
You’d laugh a lot too if you were me. I can’t believe I get to do this for a living.
I’m a Pittsburgh-based wedding photographer specializing in romantic wedding photojournalism. I live with my husband and two dogs in Pittsburgh’s North Side. I love Jesus, Betsy-Ann chocolate truffles, traveling, climbing trees, making pictures, large bodies of water, spontaneous laughter, and anything with pumpkin as a main ingredient.

Hey, my name is Drayton, i play with In the Wake of Giants, and I saw the pictures you had from the rex show on your page. I was wondering if you had more, and if so, would you be kind enough to send them to me? I really really enjoy your photography. You’re pretty much amazing at it. =)
Take it easy,
